We are a rapidly growing pest control company looking to add an additional team member. We are looking for a pest control technician to help service our existing customers. As a pest control service technician, you will be treating and inspecting residential and commercial structures for pests and sales opportunities. Rodents, snakes, spiders, and occasional wildlife are just a few of the things you will encounter while inspecting attics and crawl spaces.

A typical work day:

• Perform pest and termite control inspections and treatments.
• Inspect attics and crawl spaces
• Offer pest services to new and existing customers
• Collect agreements, payments and update accounts as needed with the office.
• Respond to service calls/texts.
• Accurately complete service work orders
• Send and respond to emails
• Other tasks requested by management.

Training

• Must pass Georgia and South Carolina Pest Registration Test. (Reimbursed by the company upon passing).
• Company Paid on the job training
• 2 weeks of direct supervised training.
• 2 weeks of indirect supervised training.

Pay:

• Hourly pay: $16.00
• Hours: 28 to 36 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Must be available to work Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 5 pm.
• Must be available to work occasional Fridays and late evenings
• High speed Internet connection
• Mobile phone (iPhone)
• Reliable transportation

• Must be comfortable in confined spaces (crawlspaces and attics)
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50-100 lbs
• Waist size not to exceed 38 inches due to working in tight, confined spaces.
• Ability to work outside in the heat, cold, rain, etc.
• Must be tobacco free
• Proof of a personal budget
• Provide a clean drug test, a criminal background check, and a recent motor vehicle record (MVR) report.
• Clean criminal background report
• Drug free
• There is a 90 day probationary period after the hired date.
