Company Description

ADS Services, Shield Pressure Control is actively seeking a QC & Safety Advisor for our Midland, Odessa (Permian) basin.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control / Site Safety & Health Advisor at Shield Pressure Control in Midland, TX. The role will require a Quality Control background, conduct quality control assessments, ensuring compliance with quality management systems and performing quality audits. The Site Safety & Health Advisor will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, conducting safety inspections, and providing training on safety protocols.

The ideal candidate is someone local to the Midland / Odessa area.

Essential Functions:

Develop QHSE Policies and Procedures:

Reporting to QSHE Director on the status of the implementation of the Integrated Management System.

Collaborate with senior management to develop and update QHSE policies and procedures tailored to the unique challenges of oil and gas field services.

Ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.

Implement QHSE Programs:

Lead the implementation of QHSE programs across all levels of the organization, including field operations, maintenance, and manufacturing.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Risk Assessment and Management:

Identify potential hazards and assess risks associated with oil and gas field services activities.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure their effective implementation.

Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.

Training and Awareness:

Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees and contractors, focusing on safe work practices, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.

Promote awareness of QHSE policies and procedures through communication campaigns and regular toolbox talks.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to QHSE in the oil and gas sector.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate regulatory inspections as necessary.

Continuous Improvement:

Monitor QHSE performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirement, including but not limited to CFR1910 for general industries, ISO9001:2015 and ADS Services Integrated Management System.

Implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and environmental performance.

Emergency Preparedness and Response:

Develop and maintain emergency response plans for oil and gas field operations, including spill response, fire safety, and medical emergencies.

Conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency response procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and community organizations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to address QHSE concerns and foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
