SUMMARY
Step into a transformative role with us as a Facilities Transition Specialist. We're on the lookout for two dedicated individuals to lead the evolution of our workspace. Play a crucial part in transitioning our welding area into a specialized storage hub, while also rejuvenating essential equipment shipped from Wausau. If you're a detail-oriented person who thrives in enhancing and optimizing environments, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to shape the future of our manufacturing facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welding Area Reorganization: Dismantle the existing welding area, including the removal of curtains, poles, and ensuring the area adheres to 5S cleanliness and organization standards.
- Material Storage Setup: Prepare the cleared welding area for the storage of COE polycarbonate and additional acrylic materials that don't fit in the 401 building.
- Equipment Cleaning: Clean and maintain saw equipment that has been shipped from our Wausau location, ensuring it's in optimal condition for use in the new manufacturing building.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. - High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years warehouse/assembly experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Able to safely use manual, electric and pneumatic hand tools.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Schedule:
- Regular Shift: 5:00 am 1:30 pm.
- First Day/Orientation: 7:30 am 1:30 pm.
Experience:
- Equipment maintenance: 1 year (Required)
- 5S or Lean Principles: 1 year (Preferred)
- Warehouse: 1 year (Required)
