We are currently seeking a dedicated Yard Associate to join our team in Aubrey, TX. This role is essential for the maintenance and efficient operation of our storage yards and related facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including manually loading and unloading materials, operating mechanical loading equipment, and ensuring the yard remains organized and compliant with safety standards.

Responsibilities :

• Accurately pull, fill, and set up orders for customer pickup as per the sales invoice.
• Ensure the proper exchange of deposit cases according to the sales invoice.
• Report any discrepancies between customer sales invoices and product exchanges to supervisory or management staff immediately.
• Enforce policies preventing customers from self-serving in the yard or warehouse areas.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the yard, including stocking products, removing trash, and segregating chemicals as per safety guidelines.
• Assist in loading customer vehicles manually or with a forklift.
• Receive and process shipments from UPS and FedEx, notifying warehouse associates accordingly.
• Collaborate with supervisors, sales staff, and coworkers to facilitate smooth deliveries and pickups.
• Manage inventory placement at the beginning and end of each workday.
• Operate forklifts safely and maintain required certifications, including conducting vehicle safety checks.
• Process returns and attend product knowledge meetings as directed by management.
• Contribute to the security of the facility by ensuring all equipment is stored securely after hours.
• Stay proficient in the use of computerized systems and other required technologies.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in distribution or warehousing preferred.
• Ability to handle heavy objects, with some items weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior forklift experience is beneficial.

Schedule :

• M-F : 7am-4 : 30pm
• Sat : 8am-12pm
