Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Switching Orders
- Infrastructure PM Management
- 203kV
- 34.5kV
- 13.8kV
- SEL Relays
- GE Relays
- Power and Event Troubleshooting
- Support training development for area techs.
- Reviews events.
- Maintenance projects support.
- Creates and updates processes and procedures in responsible areas.
- Performs other duties as required.
- High School diploma/GED equivalent.
- Three to five years of experience in the electrical maintenance field.
- Five years of experience in a Petro-Chem environment.
- Ten years of experience in a Petro-Chem environment.
- Microsoft Office applications required.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability.
- Well-developed interpersonal, oral communication, and writing skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and organized; can handle numerous tasks simultaneously without losing focus; ability to properly prioritize work.
- Detail minded and delivers quality work products.
- High commitment to work processes, procedures, and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Regularly required to push, pull, bend, climb, and perform long periods of standing and walking on cement foundations.
- Occasionally required to stoop and kneel.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to coordinate the movement of eyes, hands, feet, and fingers to operate tools and equipment.
- Required to be medically certified for respirator and medically fit for duty.
- Use of PPE required in specific areas.
- Work in different weather conditions, under emergency conditions, and for prolonged periods of time.
