Position Overview:

We are a small, family-owned pet grooming shop seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals, excellent grooming skills, and a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full grooming services including bathing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, teeth brushing, and anal gland expression.
• Cut, trim, and style the fur of various dog breeds, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• De-shed pets, particularly larger breeds like Golden Doodles, Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Saint Bernards, Huskies, and German Shepherds.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area and shop.
• Answer phones and book appointments as needed.
• Assist in opening and closing the shop when required.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with ease.

Requirements:

• Preferably licensed as a professional groomer.
• Minimum of 2 years of grooming experience if unlicensed.
• Proficient in handling all breeds, especially larger dogs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent grooming services.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the grooming area.
