Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced individual that is detail-oriented, who has good critical thinking ability and time management skills to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliation, data entry, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, competent communications skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments as well as independently.

Key Responsibilities:

· General Ledger:

Updates to the general ledger with data entry and posting transactions

Verifying financial transactions are accurate

 Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and resolve discrepancies promptly.

· Accounts Payable:

Timely and accurate entry of vendor invoices into the accounting software

Proficient processing of scale tickets

Processing payments to vendors and sending appropriate documentation

· Accounts Receivable:

Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers

Record customer payments

Follow up on overdue accounts

· Inventory Tracking

Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts

Accurately enter POs, Item Receipts, and Inventory Adjustments

 Coordinate with the production and procurement teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting.

· Financial Reporting:

 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

 Ensure monthly reconciliations are complete so quarterly financials can be give to CPA

· Payroll Processing:

 Process payroll, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and submitting payroll taxes.

 Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications:

· Education:

Minimum of an associate degree in accounting, Finance or related field

· Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

· Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP equivalent).

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to handle diversities to better perceive and support situation int eh workplace

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
