Job Title: Production Coordinator

Shift: Full Time Days 10 HR shifts M-TH

Location: New London WI

Reports To: Vice President

Job Overview:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production process. This role involves coordinating schedules, managing resources, and facilitating communication between various departments to ensure that production goals are met on time and customer deadlines are met

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scheduling and Planning:

- Coordinate with the Production Scheduler and VP to maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.

- Coordinate with production, engineering, and purchasing to ensure all materials and resources are available.

2. Resource Management:

- Manage inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of materials.

- Track and report on resource utilization and availability.

3. Communication and Coordination:

- Act as a liaison between production, quality control, logistics, and other departments.

- Facilitate communication and collaboration to resolve production issues.

- Prepare and distribute production paperwork

4. Quality Control:

- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards.

- Monitor quality assurance processes throughout the production cycle.

5. Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

- Address and report any safety incidents or violations.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and documentation.

- Generate production performance reports and provide analysis to management.

- Ensure all documentation is in compliance with company standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production coordination or a similar role.

- Skills:

 - Strong organizational and planning skills.

 - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

 - Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

 - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

 - Knowledge of quality control and safety regulations.

Competencies:

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

Working Conditions:
