Title: Area Manager
Location: 11401 Harmon Rd., Fort Worth, TX
Shift: Will be either front half or back half schedule days or nights, including weekends. Will require flexibility.
Role DescriptionAs ShipBob's Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing a team of associates in our fulfillment center. You'll be heavily involved in driving process improvement, maintaining a safe work environment, and tracking performance/employee engagement. As an Area Manager, you will oversee all associates and leads.
What You’ll Do
  • Review the weekly work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
  • Partner with other new Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that we are operating an efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
  • Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
  • Manage a team of warehouse associates to fulfill the ShipBob mission of assisting our clients in growing their online success by delighting their customers, on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for ensuring teams are properly trained, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.
  • Comply to all food safety and compliance policies and regulations.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
  • 2 years of leadership experience over a team of 10 direct reports, coaching and developing direct reports.
  • Established track record of taking ownership and driving results.

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. We are targeting a salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 for this role. The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $47,829 - $79,716.
