ImpactAs a Data Scientist on the Marketplace Product Data Science team, you will collaborate closely with diverse teams (including product managers, engineers, and fellow data scientists) to advance our understanding of the customer, make predictions to improve our products and experiences, and design and measure experiments. $82,086-$164,314

$68,405-$136,929
Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a quantitative field, and a minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
- Experience with exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis and testing, experiment design and model development, and knowledge of how to leverage these skills to solve complex business problems.
- Familiarity with causal inference.
- Proficiency in programming languages (we use Python) and familiarity with data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Airflow, etc).
- Strong SQL skills (we use Snowflake).
- Experience with a data visualization tool (we use Tableau).
- Demonstrated ability to learn and embrace new technologies, applications, and solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics to data scientists, engineers, and business partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-based environment.
- A passion for continuous learning and improvement.
