A national food manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking an EHS Manager with strong knowledge of DOT and background in transportation/distribution industries. The EHS Manager will be reporting into the Senior EHS Manager, and will be responsible for managing safety programs in the Mountain region. Based out of Greeley, CO, the EHS Manager will be expected to travel regularly, engaging with various levels of the organization and providing support to all locations in the region.

The Role:

• Plan, organize, and direct the group’s safety policies and procedures in coordination with the organization's risk management program.
• Create, administer, and manage transportation safety and environmental programs.
• Conduct new employee orientation and ongoing training for safety procedures and practices, coordinate required refresher training, drills, program audits, and updates.
• Monitor and evaluate safety performance to drive continuous improvement measured by our key indicators.

The Candidate:

• 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or transportation setting
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or other related field preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, worker's compensation and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills
