A specialist services company is searching for a Safety Manager to join their team. This role is based in Baltimore and will be responsible for managing the direction and execution of all safety programs providing direction, training, and leadership.

The Role:

• Promote a proactive safety culture at all levels of the organization, with heavy focus on employee engagement towards the safety program
• Ensures that all safety manuals, programs, policies, and practices are up-to-date and aligned with the requirements of the operating divisions.
• Acts as the authority on EPA and OSHA, as well as CDL compliance and regulations.
• Ensures the successful completion of all audits, including those by corporate and client staff, as well as state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Leads the division's safety trainings in all aspects of vehicle operation for passenger transportation

The Candidate:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in direct safety-related supervision; 5 of which in a public transportation setting
• Minimum of 3 years of senior management experience managing a transportation safety department
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
