Join Our Team as a Utility Position

Overview: Are you detail-oriented with a knack for keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a Utility team member to ensure seamless production across all departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hem Saw Operation:

    • Operate hem saws to precision specifications.
    • Prepare materials for lathes and stage them for processing.
  • Fork Truck:

    • Safely load and unload trucks.
    • Rearrange products on the floor to optimize operator efficiency.
  • Raw Material Management:

    • Sort and organize incoming materials with attention to detail.
    • Follow Epic color chart for painting materials.
    • Maintain inventory and ensure stock is stored correctly.
  • Drill / Tap Operations:

    • Set up and operate drill and tap machines.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Oil / Coolant / Waste Barrels:

    • Monitor and manage barrels, ensuring proper levels and replacements.
    • Maintain stock and initiate reordering when necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Handle etching, shipping, receiving, and occasional truck driving duties.
  • Perform deburring, sandblasting, and tumbling operations.
  • Assist with machine and building maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Strong familiarity with machines and measuring tools.
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Commitment to marking scrap parts to prevent mixing.
  • Adherence to health, safety, and company policies.
