POSITION OVERVIEW

This position reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for supervising all floor activities including assisting customers, monitoring staff, and managing inventory in addition to ensuring that all floor requirements are met. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of organization to be able to delegate duties to staff members while making sure that the staff is trained for their assigned roles. The expected hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 6:00 pm to 4:30 am.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and train staff to perform allocated roles.
• Manage floor hours through Paycom for full staff.
• Manage inventory.
• Assist Project Managers with any queries or requests.
• Work with Scheduler for proper floor mix.
• Lead the Production Control Team to make sure correct job orders are released to the floor.

REQUIRED SKILL SETS:

• Minimum 3 years in a production supervisor role
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work and provide clear communication cross functionally
• High School Diploma
• Ability to work night shift in Portland, Tennessee

PREFERRED SKILL SETS:

• Experience in a customized manufacturing environment
