Shocker Hitch is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

$18-25 DOE | Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m

Shocker Hitch is an air hitch manufacturer located in Jamestown, ND. Shocker Hitch is a small business but rapidly growing.

We are looking for a consistent and reliable sales representative to provide product and order information via phone, email and live chat to our customers and dealers along with technical support for our trailer towing products.

The best sales representatives are genuinely excited to help customers. They love to talk. Sales representatives can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Customer feedback is priceless, and these representatives can gather that information. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints/questions. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and generate customer/dealer sales
  • Identify and assess customer/dealers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Assist with towing related technical support questions
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer/dealer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer/dealer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer/dealer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers - help create a memorable experience
  • Help customers find the best air ride towing solution for them.

Skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Knowledge of trailer towing a plus.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Understanding of trailer towing and hitch set ups
  • Familiarity with customer service systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school degree
