Shodair is looking to add a part-time Medical Assistant to our Great Falls Outpatient Clinic. The Medical Assistant will support day-to-day operations of Shodair Outpatient Clinic by performing clinical tasks within the scope of a certified Medical Assistant and ensuring high quality customer service for our patients. The Medical Assistant will serve as support to medical staff in the outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has experience working in mental health or an outpatient setting.
• Can interact professionally with patients, coworkers, supervisors, and others.
• Has medical assistant experience and/or the knowledge of health care operations.
• Can gather all required information about patient history and enter it accurately into the electronic medical record system.
• Has excellent bedside manner.
• Can perform other office tasks such as scanning and answering phone calls.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE;

• Required: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program required. Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months required.
• Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred. Prior experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting strongly preferred.
