The Registered Nurse Building Supervisor provides support and direction to facility staff, ensuring 24-hour care is delivered per facility standards to assist each resident in achieving and maintaining their highest practical physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitornursing unit responsibilities, including leadership and oversight of nursingstaff (RNs, LPNs, NARs, and TMAs).
• Contribute to the comfort and well-being of the resident, ensuring respectful and dignified treatment, administering Nursing professional services as needed.
• Make daily rounds to observe residents’ physical and psychosocial status, assisting in physician calls to report and document changes in condition.Ensure families are keptupdated as necessary.
• Collaborate with the IDT (interdisciplinary team) to ensure adequate and appropriate flow of services.
• Supervise dining room activities, assisting residents with eating as needed. 
• Maintain and complete all required documentation and charting on the computer or on forms in an accurate and timely manner according to policies and procedures.
• Support various othernursing responsibilities as needed. 

Job SpecificationsEducation, Experience and Credentials
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure in the State of Minnesota as an RN required.
• Experience in long-term care nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible nursing experience preferred.
