Job Summary

As the quality inspector, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. You will perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical and math abilities.

Primary Job Duties

• Follows standardized procedures and instructions for testing all produced items for both liquid and powder products
• Assist with all lab testing and R&D lab functions
• Maintains and organizes samples of each tested batch
• Maintains records of results and prepare required quality assurance forms
• Assists in finding the root cause of quality issues
• Performs inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials and products
• Tests and performs adjustments on product blends according to required specifications
• Performs visual inspections of lab equipment and machinery
• Maintains quality assurance objectives complementary to company policies
• Follows company policies and procedures including OSHA standards
• Ensures work is documented properly and timely
• Performs quality-related and special projects as instructed

Secondary Job Duties

• Prints labels and stickers with the zebra printer for a variety of products

Education and Experience

Associate degree (or other 2-year degree)
Certification in quality control is preferred

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role
