SUMMARY, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Site Manager position serves as the liaison between the Corrections facility and Shorter College main campus. Ensures that instructor and student issues and concerns are escalated and resolved. Works to resolve course scheduling and roster conflicts. Advocates for students. Make sure books, supplies, assignments, etc., are distributed. Monitors program/instructor compliance. Works with facility leadership and staff to address PEP operational issues. Assist PEP Recruiter with recruiting new students. Assist Financial Aid Coordinator with getting completed FAFSAs. Other duties as assigned for the program to run effectively and efficiently.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Experience with project management, administration, and customer service experience is preferred. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong administrative and organizational skills to ensure that the program runs smoothly. Must be a strong communicator to ensure that the main campus PEP leadership is aware of obstacles that prohibit the program from being effective.
REASONING ABILITY: Able to problem solve and offer solutions to address issues.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: A valid driver’s license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position works in a Department of Corrections facility.
REQUIRED TESTING: Drug Test; Background Check, Prison Education Clearance
