American Hospital Association is Hiring a Senior Analyst, Sales & Finance Operations Near Chicago, IL

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Sales & Finance Operations for our Chicago office.This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote).
Starting base salary = $87,000 - $109,000 (commensurate with related experience).
The Senior Analyst, Sales & Finance Operations is responsible for overseeing the core sales operations to help drive smart, profitable and strategically aligned growth through business review preparation, planning/forecasting, insightful analysis, and ad-hoc reporting. The position is also responsible for maintaining and optimizing the supporting systems and processes to efficiently support scale and do so in accordance with the association's strategic plan and the business unit's operating and capital budgets. The position requires extensive coordination across business lines and other business units within the association. Essential functions include:
  1. Define and deliver techniques to improve funnel performance for sales management, eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies, own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics, and deliver regular insights to the business.
  2. Develop and standardize business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business review that support sales objectives, forecast and performance metrics.
  3. Enhance sales productivity and promote positive ROI by ensuring all CRM processes enable consistent, high-quality data to be gathered and provide clear visibility into the sales pipeline at all stages.
  4. Review actionable and accurate sales reporting and BI tools for reps, managers, sales leaders and product owners.
  5. Manage operational projects and track sales performance metrics against plans and quota, company forecasting, and KPIs.
  6. Partner with sales reps and marketing to refine lead qualification process, analyze and report on campaign performances with reporting and dashboards.
  7. Recommend CRM (Salesforce) project prioritization, configuration changes and troubleshooting.
  8. Ensure fulfillment/payment deadlines are met in accordance with contractual agreements, industry benchmarks and monitor aged accounts receivable (days in AR).
