Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our Billing Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing processes and coding systems.

Duties:

- Review and verify accuracy of billing data
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Utilize medical coding to ensure accurate billing
- Resolve billing issues and discrepancies
- Maintain patient billing records
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Stay updated on industry changes and compliance requirements

Requirements:

- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10
- Experience in medical billing and collections
- Knowledge of medical insurance procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
