Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

*Maintain the buildings grounds, and ensure equipment is in good safe condition, operating efficiently and economically to promote maximum longevity.

*Plan and implement building alterations.

*Work with contractors to achieve the best results.

*Maintain the level of supplies needed by the maintenance department to perform routine maintenance and repair of building and equipment.

*Participate in and conduct drills to improve the readiness of the hospital staff in the case of internal and external disaster situations.

*Perfrom safety inspections.

*Participate in positive and effective communications; demonstrate flexibility to change as required; promote inter/intra department teamwork; work efficiently and demonstrate integrity.

High School Diploma/GED

Hospital preventative maintenance (1yr)

State Drivers license in which facility is located required.
