Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have opportunities for Full -Time, Part-Time and PRN Sterile Processing Techs to join our team at the Chicago Hospital. Days & PMs. Some Weekends. 

Responsibilities

The Sterile Processing Technician, under the direction of the Sterile Processing Supervisor, decontaminates, prepares, processes, sterilizes and stores, essential surgical instruments, implants, hospital supplies, and equipment. Technicians order and manage surgical inventory and performs other routine tasks, as assigned.

PRN Shift would vary from early to late mornings, ending afternoons to early evenings.

PMs Part-time from late afternoon to evening hours. 

Qualifications

Education: Minimum High School Diploma. Prefer Certified C.S.Technician from college or training school.

Experience: Experience required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified Sterile Processing Technician preferred. Non-certified Technician with applicable years of experience considered.
