Description

The Regional Photography Manager provides leadership to the field operations teams in partnership with the Regional Director. This role can be fulfilled from various locations in our United States Central and Great Lakes Region, but requires up to 50% travel to our field office locations.
What You'll Do Here:
  • Provide leadership to drive Photography Excellence of critical and new Photography initiatives such as: AID, SSS, productivity, scheduling efficiency, account retention, PRISM, Skilled Based Photography and support Area Model transitions.
  • Drive Regional leadership responsibilities, including but not limited to: staff planning, seasonal workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, employee retention, training and development, supervising and coaching staff, performance reviews, regulatory compliance, executing and monitoring established goal objectives, payroll reporting, policy interpretation and implementation, employee relations, and day-to-day performance management.
  • Work closely with Corporate Office Photographic Operations department to ensure the Region is aligned in all company processes and procedures with effective use of resources, identifying opportunities to strengthen Region performance, and executing improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for the alignment and management of Regional strategy to ensure the best utilization of company resources and maximization of productivity for high-quality, positive Picture Day experiences
  • Develops and deploys rebooking strategies in accordance with company procedures, business objectives, and that aligns with Sales strategies.
  • Support the Regional Director to deliver on company financial budget expectations (both fixed and variable) in collaboration with Field Finance; regularly monitors Region performance; recommends and takes prompt, corrective action as appropriate.
  • Serve as an expert in the Region for all things Photo including hiring, equipment management and testing, training, scheduling strong picture day execution and quality. Drives engagement and ensures a strong photo culture is present; makes photo quality a top priority for the Region.
  • Provide direction and guidance to Photo Managers for the management and execution of key operational and photo deliverables. Drives compliance of standardization and adoption of key initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of Region to provide photo training and initiatives, area/territory and company updates, both employee and account retention initiatives, and employee recognition. Ensures Region participation in all eligible company programs.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team and Ops team to ensure positive and productive working relationships between sales and photo/operations team.
  • Ensure that plans are in place for management succession, staffing, and employee development for each territory.
The Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience
  • Experience managing the operations within a $20 million in sales volume organization
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Professional Photographer Certification (CPP) is required or the ability and willingness to achieve certification
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire others and invoke the passion of photography
  • Proven ability to lead and effectively manage change
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
