This role will focus on supporting Shutterfly’s Operations Finance for labor in financial planning and analysis.
Other Focus Areas Include
- Operations Finance labor management and supporting annual budget/strategic planning
- Drive Operations Finance initiatives including P&L reporting and management analytics
- Provide stakeholders and leadership status updates of Operations Finance initiatives, including new opportunities and potential risks
- Help identify and drive cost and efficiency initiatives
- Develop and track KPIs utilizing tools and technology
What You'll Do Here
- Manage regular budgeting/ forecasting for operations labor and detail actual vs. forecasted results
- Partner with senior business leadership to continue to provide relevant KPIs and improve the framework for ongoing reporting and analysis
- Support financial planning and financial reporting in order to assist and influence senior leadership with financial analysis
- Ad-hoc business case analysis to support business leadership decisions
- Develop reporting packages and dashboards for financial and business review meetings that succinctly summarize key insights
- Cross-functionally work with Accounting, Central FP&A, and Operations to provide deeper P&L understanding / management to senior business leaders
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years relevant experience, ideally within financial planning and analysis at medium to large size companies, public or private
- Systems savvy, ideally with experience implementing or overseeing financial planning and reporting tools
- Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
- Adaptable to changes and agile with execution
- Strong results orientation and bias for action across the finance organization
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical skills
- Experience with Oracle/SAP and Hyperion/EPM a plus
