SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.

SIE is looking for a Construction Inspector to support REI Services for a NYCDDC Water Main Project in Queens.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring contractor’s work

• Ensuring construction is as per the plans and specifications

• Preparing daily reports

• Assisting Office Engineer as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Qualification & Skills:

• 5 years of REI/CM experience on infrastructure projects

• Experience working on NYCDDC projects required 

• Water main experience required 

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or active NICET certification preferred

Expected salary range is $90,000-$120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
