Specifically for our High Purity Quartz (HPQ) operations in Spruce Pine, NC, we are now looking for our Director Asset Management (DAM).
You will be responsible for development, implementation, and execution of the HPQ business’s Asset Management Program and improving the management of the business’s assets in line with our HSE objectives, operational and financial objectives, regulatory standards, business risk profile, long term business strategy, and short-term business objectives (HSE, product quality, production volume, costs).
In this respect, Asset Management means the optimal use, maintenance, improvement, replacement, and long-term sustainability of the company’s physical assets, which include fixed plant and machinery, mobile equipment, and all supporting facilities.
The DAM is a member of the Operations Leadership team (together with the VP Operations, Director Mining and Minerals Processing, Director Advanced Processing, and Director Integrated Operations)
About You
With a minimum education Bachelors in engineering or business and 20 years’ experience, including 10 years in maintenance, procurement, or asset management, you must have a strong understanding of industrial automation and change management.
You should also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, as well as experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Finally, knowledge of Chemical Complex Processes, quartz processing, mineral operations, or related industries is a plus.
