Side By Side Nutrition is seeking a full-time dietitian to join its expanding private practice. We are looking for a remote dietitian. This will be a virtual and in-person position. We are looking to fill this position soon to prepare for a start date of very soon. This person must have experience and a passion for working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders and disordered eating. Side By Side specializes in providing one on one counseling for eating disorders in adolescents and adults, utilizing evidence and strengths-based approaches from a health at every size and social justice lens. We are currently looking for a dietitian who is ready to be a part of a dynamic, fun, and collaborative team. If you want to be part of a work family, apply!
Perks of becoming an employee with Side By Side Nutrition include joining a well-established and expanding private practice, flexible hours, the ability to make their own schedule, clinical consultation, and competitive compensation (based on experience, training, and licensure).
We will provide client referrals, marketing, electronic health record, insurance billing capabilities, EHR and insurance billing training, group and individual supervision, CEUs, training, support, and others.
The potential candidate needs to be a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist in the State of Washington (RDN) preferably with training and experience in treating eating disorders and working with adolescents and adults. An ability and interest in providing family or group nutrition therapy services would also be a plus. The dietitian’s responsibilities would include providing one on one counseling sessions, billing for each session and collecting payment, maintaining appropriate documentation in Intake Q (EMR) and care coordination, and attending one team meeting each week.
The ideal candidate would work well in collaboration with a team, be interpersonally comfortable and warm, and be interested in a long-term position within an expanding, supportive private practice. Professionalism, excellent therapeutic boundaries, cultural competency, self-motivation and self-awareness, and good organizational and time management skills are essential. Candidates who value working solo yet can be respectful of leadership, who practice continued education and professional enrichment, and who can maintain a peaceful, quiet environment and respect the space would be the ideal fit.
The ideal candidate will also be credentialed with insurance companies. You will be assisted in the credentialing process as needed.
