We are supporting a B2B SaaS startup in their search for a talented Mid-level Payroll Specialist to join their team on a part-time, project-based contract.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll processes including data entry, calculation, and distribution of salaries.
  • Compliance: Ensure payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax filings and reporting.
  • Auditing: Conduct regular audits to verify payroll data integrity and accuracy.
  • Problem Resolution: Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain payroll records, generate reports, and handle related documentation efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure cohesive payroll processes.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
