We are searching for a skilled Risk Manager to join our dynamic finance consulting firm on a part-time basis to assist in managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and strategies to minimize potential financial losses.
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management processes.
- Monitor financial activities to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure understanding and adherence to risk management guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to recommend adjustments to risk management strategies.
- Prepare reports and presentations on risk assessment findings and recommendations for management review.
- Proven experience as a Risk Manager, preferably in the finance or consulting industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial risk analysis, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to identify and assess risks.
- Good understanding of financial markets, products, and investment strategies.
- Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Certifications in risk management, such as FRM or PRM.
- Experience with risk management software and tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies.
