The Position Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Employment Status: Full-time

Hours per two-week pay-period :72 hours per week

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for the direction and supervision of all nursing activities during the scheduled shift and hospital activities in the absence of the Director of Emergency Services, Clinical Services Administrator and Chief Executive Officer. Is delegated the authority for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care during scheduled shift. Utilizes the contributions of the other health care team members. Responsible for the operation of the emergency room during the scheduled shift. Reports directly to the Director of Emergency Services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Emergency Room experience preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:

• Current Montana License as a Registered Nurse
• BLS
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC preferred.

Position Summary:

Sidney Health Center is seeking an Emergency Room/Critical Care nurse to join our I CARE team in the Emergency Room setting. Essential duties of the position include providing care to acutely and critically ill patients, perform complex patient assessments, and coordinate care among the interprofessional health care team.
