Siegfried Rivera, P.A. has an opening in its Coral Gables office for an associate attorney with at least 3-8 years of experience in community association law and/or commercial and construction litigation experience. This position provides the option for a hybrid work schedule after the initial training period.

Some Responsibilities:

• Litigation of condominium enforcement claims, declaratory actions, construction disputes, injunction actions, and general litigation.
• Representation of community associations, developers, and general contractors as general counsel.
• Reviewing and interpreting community association governing documents, construction contracts, and other legal documents.
• Attend condominium and homeowner association board and members’ meetings.
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Build trusting relationships with clients.
• Ability to grow your career with unique business development opportunities.
• Meet annual billable hour requirements and record time efficiently.

Skills/Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be proactive and a self-starter.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Community Association/HOA or Construction experience is a plus.
• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
