We are looking for a Financial Analyst/Professional at our facility in Raleigh, NC, to implement and validate Siemens Energy systems and tools such as JEDOX, SAP PT2 COPA, ESPRIT, FOCUS and EU-Taxonomy regulation.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Continuous review of our ERP (enterprise resource planning,) systems to ensure accuracy and process improvements.
• Reports and processes customizations, by collaborating with IT (information technology) department on various improvement initiatives, such as Tableau, Alterix, Sales Force.
• SAP system key user, validating migrations, subledgers and settlements for all Service, Sales and POC (percentage of- completion) orders.
• Support in building a strategic plan and budget to achieve North America targets.
• Responsible for fulfilling accounting, forecasting, and reporting requirements by reviewing, analyzing, and consolidating feedback from different departments and between different countries in North America.
• Ensuring correct books and records for all business segments in our division.
• Perform financial planning, forecasting and consolidating budget data (including top-down and bottom-up plans) while ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy Financial Reporting Guidelines and other accounting standards.
• Support quarterly and annual internal and external audit requirements.
• Support global reporting consolidations and quarterly/annual financial requirements.
• Prepare various financial reports and presentations for senior management while compiling and reviewing financial plans and budgets at complex levels.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field and 5 years of experience.
• Will accept pre-Bachelor’s degree experience.
• Experience must include 4 years in: accounting and/or finance working closely with Sales, Project management and Engineering teams in the Energy Industry;
• Knowledge of controlling topics and closing activities;
• Accruals, revenue recognition methodologies, fixed assets, productivity measures, internal cost charges, overhead rates calculation, budget, balance sheet reconciliation, inventory costing, department cost management, etc;
• Analytical skills, financial planning, budgeting and global consolidations;
• SAP and Microsoft Excel;
• Migration topics and extensive databases;
• Utilize Alteryx and Tableau to implement process improvement projects and maintain ongoing systems for controlling and reporting activities;
• Reporting and financial analysis, using Think Cell tool and Microsoft Power Point; and
• Understand & interpret & present financial figures.
• Experience must also include: EU-Taxonomy policies and reporting.
