As a Project Manager I, you are responsible for managing a project from design to release for customers, monitoring the project from initiation through delivery and program closeout . You will develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables; identify needed resources for projects; and interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. This role can, and often is, used as a Control Account Manager on a larger program You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: proposal development, planning, scope, definition, design, execution, delivery, and program closeout. You will track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepare reports to stakeholders. The Project Manager will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent. * Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, internships not included in total years of experience * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
* Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules
* Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Demonstrated experience in managing a project. Preferred: * Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
* Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or similar tool
* Experience with developing budgets and managing projects to those budgets.
* Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution
* Experience in resource planning and management during project execution
* Experience with risk management planning and documentation
* Familiarity with government contracting and regulations
* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Estimated Starting Salary Range: $91,154.71 - $125,337.72. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
