Sig Brewing Company is looking for a new back of house crew member, so if you have a passion for pizza, quality food made from scratch, and/or craft beer, we’d love to meet you!
ABOUT US:
We are a local, family-owned brewpub located in Tacoma’s Historic Brewing District, and we work to differentiate ourselves in as many ways as possible, including our beers, food, and taproom. Our back of house team is a small, close-knit crew that works hard, collaborates creatively on new menu items, and most importantly, has fun together.
ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for someone dependable and teachable with a great attitude. Kitchen experience is preferred, and coming in with basic knife skills and food prep knowledge would be a real advantage, but we are confident that someone who’s excited to learn can thrive in this job with training. We also value good communication skills, punctuality, and a sense of humor!
Responsibilities for the role include prepping menu items from scratch, helping to execute fast-paced lunch and dinner services, and adhering to all health/safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. We complete all duties as a team, from concocting creative specials and making tickets to washing dishes and mopping floors.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
* Tipped position: all of our back of house members are included in a tip pool, usually averaging about $4 per hour depending on how busy we are. More work means more $$$!
* Competitive wages: the base wage is $17 - $20 per hour, depending on experience. This rate is before tips, so in total, $20 - $24 per hour.

* Flexible hours: we’re looking to fill about 25-30 hours per week with the definite possibility to grow, and if you work with us, we’ll work with you. Since we are a small team, some flexibility is necessary for all of us, and at least one weekend day is a must, but we can work with your schedule.
* Seasonal menu: we love to shake things up! This gives the kitchen team a chance to have fun and be inventive while keeping our customers coming back to see what new and interesting creations we’re offering.
