Sightpath Medical is the premier cataract and LASIK mobile services provider in the U.S. We have the following opening for a Field Operations Specialist - Cataract in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Emergency and vacation coverage for field staff
• Take over Surgical Technologist duties in case of emergency or for vacation coverage.
• Provide assistance to the physician and surgical staff. To include, standard operation of equipment and surgical scrub assistance if necessary
• Provide courteous and professional assistance at all times
• Administer pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections when covering for field staff
• Maintain proper credentials and communicate with facility as required
• Emergency and scheduled equipment maintenance and repairs
• Parts management for cataract equipment
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on cataract equipment
• Help maintain a functional and efficient PM facility/SPU
• Onboarding
• Exchange and keep current all surgeon and facility preferences
• Work with Mobile Operations Manager, Operations Director and Senior Operations Specialist to obtain surgeon and facility preferences while assisting the Surgical Technologist that regularly services account to ensure success in their role
• Assist with new Surgical Technologists in roles and those Surgical Technologists covering for new customers
• Document all equipment and procedural incidents with Clinical Services and/or Director

Qualifications:

• All qualified candidates must have their Surgical Technologist certification
• Candidates should be highly organized and possess basic computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to problem solve and exude technical troubleshooting skills
• Valid Driver's License
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills for the development of relationships with doctors and their staff
• Able to handle emergencies calmly and logically
• Candidates must be proactive and a high energy individual
• Position requires frequent travel (up to 60%), weekend travel and also potential short notice notification
