Title: Director of Admin
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM; Monday - Friday. Occasional work may be required outside of standard hours, such as evenings or weekends.
Compensation: Depending on experience $22-$26 per hour

  • Paid time off: PTO accrual will begin 90 days from hire date, however, PTO hours can not be used prior to the employee’s 1 year anniversary with the company.
Position SummaryThe Director of Administration is a self-motivated and results-driven Director who will implement and manage the organization’s business activity. They will be the primary contact for all general human resources questions, benefits, orientation, and interpretation of human resources policies and procedures. They will also be responsible for accurate and timely administrative office functions including but not limited to: planning, coordinating, directing, and managing the weekly and month to date activities. The Director will lead the coordinator(s) by directly managing efficiency, HR activities, and general administration ensuring the business runs smoothly and effectively. Listed below, but not limited to, are some areas of individual responsibilities. This is not a comprehensive list and responsibilities are contingent upon additional needs and requirements of the business and may be subject to change.
Responsibilities
  • Administrative KPIs responsibility and accountability: Labor Efficiencies (including overtime) and employee retention
  • Directly responsible for the training, development, and performance management of officers on related HR tasks, oversee and monitor officers through the Signal training/onboarding process
  • Perform HR activities such as posting requisitions, scheduling and conducting interviews, and facilitating the new hire orientation process
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing process of all security officers, company fleet, workers compensation
  • Support and communicate with the Operations team to identify staffing needs and scheduling
  • Create and maintain updated records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Become proficient with software to implement and submit schedules, payroll, and reports
  • Conduct daily review of urgent activities and communicates information to Executive Director or Franchise Owner
  • Work to continuously improve the quality of service, administrative efficiency, and processes.
  • Create and monitor company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for fostering a positive working environment through feedback, recognition programs, and performance reviews
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all office procedures.
  • Ensure Payroll Reports are accurate for review by Franchise Owner. Provide payroll department with necessary payroll data to process payroll.
  • Perform receptionist duties
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 years or more in Management or a leadership capacity
  • Pass background check and drug test
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
  • Experience or proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Proficient in recruiting and onboarding software (e.g. Indeed, JazzHR, or TalentReef)
  • Excellent organization, time management, oral, and written communication skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Consistent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time, shifting priorities as necessary
  • Conducts self in accordance to Signal Core Values and by the Signal employee handbook
  • Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor
Environmental/Working ConditionsNormal office environment. Occasional overtime may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.
Physical DemandsRequires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard.
