Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer - Day Shift - Dedicated

Position: Full-Time

Temporary Contract: June 1st - June 30th

Hours: 9:00AM-10:00PM

Schedule: Rotating 3-2-2

Pay Rate: $16 Per Hour

Job Description:

Dedicated Officers will detect and deter any activity that could be harmful to our client's business, employees, customers, property and reputation. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to following:

• Provide a highly visible presence to detect and deter crime
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and other security related events
• Document and report shift activities
• Maintain company and client equipment
• Loss Prevention
• Foot Patrols
• Vehicle Patrols

Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable means of communication
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to pass a background check
• Possess a North Carolina Guard Card (Training provided if necessary)
• Prior military, law enforcement, security, or customer service experience (Preferred)
• Weekend shifts

Skills & Abilities:

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred) (Training provided if necessary)
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Strong Observation skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in stressful situations
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
