Production Associate/ Installer

About the role

Candidate will be responsible for the fabrication & installation of interior and exterior signage following Signarama’s quality standards, including vehicle graphics, storefronts, wayfinding, promotional, tradeshow signage, etc. Operate and maintain sign-making equipment (Laminators, substrate cutters, fabrication tools etc.). Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills while working within a team-oriented atmosphere. Candidate is expected to interact with customers courteously and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate various power tools, saws & metal fabricating equipment using standard safety procedures. 
• Install printed and cut vinyl on to various substrates including vehicles.
• Operate hot/cold pressure laminator following standard safety procedures. 
• Operate a board trimmer, print trimmer, or other finishing equipment. 
• Weed cut-vinyl and apply transfer tape.
• Operate laser and rotary engraving equipment.
• Travel to customer locations using company vehicle to preview work areas and install various types of signs (valid driver’s license required).
• Maintain machinery in good working order. 
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional work environment. 

Skills & Experience Requirements

Qualifications

• Candidate should have experience in construction/ fabrication methods plus knowledge of various hardware and fastening methods.
• Must be capable of driving and operating company bucket truck and van.
• Must be computer knowledgeable and willing to learn to be proficient in various software programs.
• Physical Demand: Must be able to climb a ladder while lifting signs. 
• Physical Demand: Must be able to place onto and retrieve various types of substrates from a substrate rack including the upper shelves. 
• Physical Demand: Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift over 80 lbs.
