Apprentice Installer / Service Technician / Production Associate

About the Role :

We are looking for an Assistant Sign Installer / Service Technician & Production Assistant to join our team at Signarama - Springfield, MO located in Ozark, MO.

As an Apprentice Installer / Service Technician / Production Associate, you will have the opportunity to cross-train in various areas of the business, including sign production, sign installation, and more.

This is a dynamic role where you can learn new skills, work in different areas of the shop, and get outside for installations - providing a nice change of scenery.

Your versatility and willingness to learn will be key to your success and growth within the company.

All our vehicles are under CDL so you DO NOT need to be a CDL driver but will need a valid CLASS E driver's license and our insurance will run a driver's record check.

You must be able to pass a drug screen and be 21 to drive. You must be capable and comfortable with driving these vehicles for installs, deliveries, etc. :

• Altec LS49 Crane truck (49’ reach)
• Elliott L60 (60’ reach) manual transmission
• Ford Transit Connect Van

Responsibilities :

• Learn to operate and maintain crane trucks, ladder trucks, scissor lifts, forklifts, and other heavy machinery
• Develop proficiency in using power and non-power tools for sign installation, maintenance, and repair
• Safely lift, load, and unload supplies and signs up to 150 lbs physically and up to 1,000 lbs with equipment
• Install ground signs, building signs, interior wall logos, vehicle wraps, and more
• Troubleshoot and fix issues encountered with tools, wiring, and sign installation
• Ensure compliance with all company and OSHA safety standards
• Assist with sign production tasks as needed

Qualifications :

• Valid Class E driver's license and clean driving record (REQUIRED to be considered)
• Construction background
• Comfortable working with basic power tools and able to lift 50 lbs
• Welding background
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Adaptable, flexible, and eager to learn new skills and thinks outside the box
