Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization.
Duties:
- Process payroll for employees on a regular basis
- Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
- Prepare and distribute reports to management as needed
- Reconcile payroll data, address discrepancies, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any payroll-related issues
- Assist in the implementation of payroll software updates and system enhancements
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online
- Experience working as a clerk in a financial setting
- Knowledge of journal entries and general ledger accounting
- Familiarity with payroll processes and regulations
- Ability to use financial software for payroll processing
- Technical accounting skills for accurate financial reporting
- Strong account reconciliation abilities
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems)
- Understanding of key financial concepts
