Significance is seeking a Human Capital Consultant to support our Navy Real Property account. Specifically, this consultant will manage deliverables to meet objectives related to business process improvement and organizational change management. The consultant will be responsible for creating new guidance, plans, and policies following a recent reorganization to define and communicate changes and improvements to the agency. The consultant will be responsible for working with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and interpret information, and building briefings to report key data and performance indicators to senior leadership.
Required Skills/Experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
  • 1-5 years experience with technical and/or professional writing, portraying an ability to independently conduct background research, structure written work products, and articulate an approach or recommendations.
  • 1-5 years experience in management consulting, business transformation and change management, and/or business process improvement (BPI) related activities.
  • 1-5 years experience developing reports, briefing materials, and plans in Microsoft PowerPoint, coordinating with stakeholders to gather information and developing visualizations and/or graphs to highlight key data.
  • Experience supporting meeting facilitation and scheduling
  • Proficiency in project management skills to include: managing individual tasks to meet project milestones, analyzing task lists to provide appropriate progress and status updates, independently researching topics to gather knowledge and better understanding.
  • 1-5 years professional experience working in teams, demonstrating interpersonal skills, team-building capabilities, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Visio).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple tasking, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to perform a broad range of tasks from high-level strategy creation to administrative duties.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Located in the National Capital Region (NCR) or be willing to relocate/contribute to in-person client and team engagements in the NCR within the next six months.
Desired Skills/Experience
  • Experience providing management support and guidance to DoD or Federal agencies around communications, operations, and processes.
  • Experience facilitating one-on-one and/or small group meetings to gather information, build content, and gain feedback, consensus, and approval from stakeholders.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., executing pivot tables) and software (Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and SharePoint
  • Experience in Real Property life-cycle management
  • Experience supporting reorganization efforts for a Federal agency
