Job Description

American Hydrotech, A Sika Corporation company is looking for a Technical Service Representative. The Technical Service Representative will have thorough knowledge of all Hydrotech products and assemblies, ensure that the correct application procedures are followed, and assisting Hydrotech staff, sales reps, applicators, general contractors, architects, specifiers, and building owners, through day-to-day communication and on-site.

The ideal candidate will live in the Northeast; (NY, NE or NJ). This position reports to the Director of Technical Services.

• Proper and accurate use and dissemination of Hydrotech products and assembly information to the field and design teams
• Review of project specifications and details
• Atypical detailing coordination, presented in drawn form (CAD or sketched / hand drawn)
• Warranty Claim follow-up
• Special Projects that include but not limited to revision / update of technical literature, researching new products, and developing new / modified means and methods

Qualifications

• Travel up to 50-75% - domestic and international
• Bachelor's Degree
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Windows Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Ability to use AutoCAD is preferred
