Summary of Position

The Warehouse operations controller Intern is responsible for assisting the Logistics & Warehouse Manager in various tasks related to the design, development, optimization, implementation and troubleshooting of the internal and external procedures of the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor the accounting SOPs and internal controls, and update as necessary.
• Conduct various in-depth inventory of BOM and FG analyses.
• Assisting on monitoring department KPI’s and drives ongoing improvement.
• Must possess a strong mental aptitude to quickly acquire an in-depth understanding of our internal applications / processes, thorough knowledge of all assigned carriers’ contracts, pricing methodologies, along with a firm grasp of the transportation industry and inventory controls in general so that the root causes of discrepancy items can be quickly identified.
• Contribute ideas and participate in projects aimed at continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, safety, and environmental sustainability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality, and maintenance to achieve project goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Skills

• Intermediate level MS Office knowledge.
• Proficient keyboarding abilities.

Education and / or Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current student or recent graduate of post-secondary academic institution.
