This is a Part-Time Seasonal position. This position begins Now and ends 12/31/2024.

Summary: Experienced servers seeking a new opportunity are invited to join the Showboat Branson Belle Server Team in Branson, Missouri. Be a part of America’s Most Entertaining Lake Adventure by delivering three-course meals while our paddle wheeler navigates Table Rock Lake. With a daily schedule of up three cruises a day that accommodates up to 700 passengers each, this role offers ample opportunities to demonstrate exceptional guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Interacts with guests in a manner that demonstrates a willingness to do “whatever it takes” to make their experience one worth repeating.
• Answers questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service; Listens to and responds appropriately to any guest request; Completes all opening/closing duties each cruise.
• Serves salads, main course, and desserts, serves & refills drinks, and performs other services as determined by need which could include but are not limited to cleaning, performing the duties of a server assistant, helping plate food, or doing a task asked of by leadership.
• Carries a serving tray weighing up to 50 pounds above shoulder level; ascends and descends stairs while balancing the tray
• Clears and resets tables at the conclusion of each cruise
• Participates in rotation of serving areas as assigned by Leadership; must be flexible to work in any designated dining area
• The Showboat Branson Belle cruises up to three times per day; servers may be required to work multiple cruises each day
• Performs in a safety-critical evacuation role in the case of an emergency; responsible for directing guests and ensuring they follow all safety precautions and instructions
• Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Must be comfortable working on a moving vessel away from land.
• Able to communicate efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds frequently to 200 pounds maximum
• The ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete continuously
• The ability to work in cramped quarters continuously
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• The ability to remember locations, understand and carry out instructions
• The ability to work at a rapid speed continuously

Required Experience

• Six months of serving experience in a premium casual dining or fine dining restaurant is required.
