Silver Lining Psychiatry  is a leading mental health clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals, couples, and families. Our team of skilled professionals are committed to promoting mental wellness and empowering clients to lead fulfilling lives. We are currently seeking a Part time to eventually full time  licensed mental health therapist to join our dynamic team.

As a licensed mental health therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing various mental health challenges. You will provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy to clients of all ages in a supportive and collaborative environment. Utilizing your expertise in therapeutic modalities, you will develop personalized treatment plans to address clients' unique needs and goals. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and client goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other modalities, to address clients' presenting concerns.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients' families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the field of mental health and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
  • Uphold ethical standards and professional boundaries in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a mental health therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of FL
  • Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic criteria and treatment approaches for common mental health disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with diverse clientele.
  • Commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity in working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to ethical guidelines and legal regulations.
