Position Summary:
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting staff in completing their assigned tasks. Cultivation Technicians are expected to be able to carry supplies and equipment, assist with the sanitation and collection of garbage, assist with cleaning equipment and tools, and provide manual labor services as needed. Cultivation Technicians may be eligible for advancement.
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient way according to policies and procedures.
• Clean equipment as scheduled or required.
• Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored.
• Clean water tank and nutrient reservoirs as necessary.
• Pick up refuse in areas as required.
• Dispose of garbage according to compliant procedures.
• Implement all sanitation procedures.
• Assist gardeners
• Assist trimmers
• Assist packagers
• Follow GMP protocols and follow Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs)
Requirements
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must possess communication Proficiency.
• Must possess time management skills.
• Must be self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be Able to work efficiently and accurately. ?
• Must be Flexible, collaborative, team-oriented person with good communication skills. ?
• Must possess the ability to execute techniques consistently.
• Must possess the ability to work effectively and in a cohesive team atmosphere with all areas.
• Must be able to work in a safety aware and heavily regulated environment
• Bachelor’s Degree or horticultural, Technical Certification preferred
• 1-5 years Prior nursery, landscaping, and/or agricultural experience. ?
• Marijuana Employees must receive an “agent registration card” from the Nevada State Health Division in order to work at a Nevada marijuana establishment.
