Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients for medical or clinical testing, transfusions, donations, or research.

Shift Type – 8 hours Day

Duties:
- Perform venipuncture and skin puncture to obtain blood specimens for testing
- Label vials with patient names and dates
- Organize and send samples to the laboratory for analysis
- Follow proper patient identification protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Skills:
- Proficient in phlebotomy techniques including venipuncture and capillary puncture
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to blood collection
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent contamination
- Ability to handle various laboratory equipment for specimen collection and processing
- Strong understanding of clinical laboratory procedures and techniques
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients in hospitals or clinical settings

Requirements:

- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician preferred (ASCP)
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus
