Job DescriptionJob Summary
Salary: $65000 - $73000 / yearThe Operations Manager directs and coordinates activities of industrial organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the duties personally or through subordinate supervisors; coach, council and train the Operations force to improve individual skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manages, oversees and coordinates all aspects of operations activities including, but not limited to: operations planning, qualifying potential business, operational review of events and profitability. Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.
  • Develops and implements operations strategies that improve execution and provide additional value in a cost-effective manner
  • Effectively communicates goals to the operations team and communicate with the wider organization and maintains accurate and up to date records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.
  • Overall responsibility for execution of contracts – estimated cost vs. actual cost; review of contracts; supervision of labor and subcontractors; planning and scheduling contracts, preparation of invoices, and collections
  • Proactively communicates with and seeks feedback from all customers. Seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction; meets with customers on a regular basis to ensure we are meeting their needs
  • Proactively communicates with and seeks feedback from all staff. Seeks to continuously improve performance and efficiencies.
  • Supervises and coaches colleagues in a manner that maintains morale, skills proficiency and productivity. Managerial responsibilities include but are not limited to: mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues; planning, assigning and directing work. Recruit and train team members as required by business needs
  • Up to 50% travel required
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Knowledge and Skill

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of previous operations, service or field or project management experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: event staffing, security, sports management, athletics
Protective Clothing Required The position may require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes or work boots, etc.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; uses hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. On occasion, the colleague may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Position may also require work in confined spaces and exposure to different types of outdoor weather conditions.
The colleague must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The position is an office-based position with frequent requirements to work at or attend scheduled events in an outdoor environment. The colleague performs up to 50% overnight work-related travel.
