Why this role is important to us We foresee significant commercial growth for new PS services as SimCorp One platform expands into the cloud connectivity technology stack. The Global Solution Architect will be instrumental in defining how we turn the opportunity into results, where choice of tools, development of skills and adoption by consultants will be key to success. Product Development is an important stakeholder and the Global Solution Architect must collaborate closely with the relevant product managers to ensure efficient communication about trends, tools and practices. We are looking for a candidate with profound knowledge about APIs, Data pipelines and Cloud integration principles. The candidate should be a great communicator, as the transition should be driven with commitment, enthusiasm and a clear vision. This is a global position, and willingness to travel internationally will be required based on where SimCorp’s customers are located globally. You will be reporting into the Global Practice Lead for Platform. What you will be responsible for Resource management Create cloud integration solutions for different use-cases based on enterprise capabilities Work closely with the project teams during Onboarding, Build and Test to secure applied integration architecture principles and methods Drive initiation and execution of improvements according to continuous improvement and change processes Understand how integration solutions impact service TCO in order to guide the SaaS Operations business Creation of compelling sales material for usage in client engagements Effective promotion of SimCorp Professional Services on social media such as LinkedIn Knowledge management Lay out new skills improvement path for our consulting community Take an active role in improving integration best practice based on the global delivery model and know-how of consultants Ensure all the necessary collateral is in place to support our Compass delivery methodology and champion this in our organization Collaborate and align among Solution Architects to ensure a common global approach to solutions and methodologies Create education material and deliver trainings What we value Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to excel at several of the following skills and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest. Relevant degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering Comprehensive knowledge of API design principles and best practices Familiarity with API security standards and their implementation Understanding of HTTP, REST, SOAP and AsyncAPIs Experience with tools such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, Streamsets, Fivetran, Oracle GoldenGate, Python, R and others Experience with API management platforms At least 5 years of relevant experience integrating Cloud Ecosystems Preferably experience from investment management ecosystems integrating SimCorp Dimension, Blackrock, Charles River or others Understanding critical monitoring aspects for data pipelines Comprehensive problem solving skills Ability to build relationships, drive discussions and influence stakeholders when required Enjoy working in a role collaborating with many parts of the SimCorp organization Proactive, creative and commercially minded with a global perspective Proficiency in English Benefits Flexible working hours - possibility to work from home Private medical care Sharing the costs of sports activities Life insurance Possibility to develop your career in an international environment Professional training and courses Integration events and charity projects In addition, we provide a good work and life balance and opportunities for professional development: there is never just only one route - we offer an individual approach to professional development to support the direction you want to take.
